Covenant Land

Land enters the network under a covenant standard — not a sale, not a lease, but a stewardship agreement that protects it from extraction and ensures it serves the community for generations.

Cold Chain

Regional cold chain infrastructure brings storage and distribution within reach of producers who can't access it alone. Built at the node level, maintained at the network level.

Processing

Local processing capacity means local producers capture more of the value they create. Each node includes the processing infrastructure the region actually needs.

Community

The network is not infrastructure alone. It's the relationships, training, and formation that make the infrastructure mean something to the people who depend on it.

The Covenant Standard

What cannot be bought cannot be sold.

Every acre in the network is governed by four non-negotiables. These are not preferences. They are the structure.

Cannot be bought

Land enters the network by covenant, not transaction. The standard cannot be purchased around.

Cannot be extracted

No absentee extraction. Stewardship means presence. Capital that exploits the land violates the covenant.

Cannot be relocated

The covenant is place-bound. A node is rooted in its community — it does not follow better returns elsewhere.

It is inherited

The covenant passes to the next steward. It is not dissolved when leadership changes — it deepens.

What We Are

A living infrastructure for land that endures.

The 25th Acre is an operating network — not a platform, not a marketplace, not a fund seeking returns in quarters. We build regional food infrastructure: land under covenant, cold chain, processing, and the community formation that makes it all mean something.

We work across five entry points — land stewards, ranchers, investors, operators, and community leaders — because the problem is not a single actor's to solve. The infrastructure is the network.

Every node is built on relationships that predate it. Nodes are not announced; they are formed. The network grows at the pace the land and the people require — not the pace the market prefers.

The five paths — Land Steward, Rancher, Investor, Operator, Community Leader — are not segments to be managed. They are the living parts of a system that only works when all five are present. A node without a community leader has no roots. A node without a rancher has no production. A node without patient capital has no permanence.

The 25th Acre is the operating company that holds the capital structure, processes food, and builds the nodes. It is distinct from the Foundation, which trains stewards and guards the covenant, and from TAM Strategy, which provides the structural and intellectual framework.

The Covenant Standard

Four non-negotiables.

These are not principles to aspire to. They are structural constraints. Any node that cannot hold all four is not yet a node.

Cannot be bought

Covenant land enters the network through relationship and agreement, not through acquisition. The standard itself is not for sale. No amount of capital can purchase an exception.

Cannot be extracted

Stewardship requires presence. Any structure that removes value from a community without returning it — in soil health, in labor, in local food access — violates the covenant.

Cannot be relocated

The work is place-bound. A node belongs to its region. It does not move when returns shift. If the work cannot survive in place, the work is not ready.

It is inherited

The covenant passes to the next steward intact. Leadership changes do not dissolve the agreement. The covenant deepens with each generation that holds it.

Training stewards.
Guarding what endures.

The 25th Acre Foundation is the covenant and community arm of the network. Where the LLC builds infrastructure, the Foundation builds the people who can hold it. It trains farming families, stewards land, and ensures the covenant standard is passed intact to the next generation.

The Foundation is a separate entity with its own site, its own giving register, and its own voice. It shares a family with this site — the same typographic system, the same covenant principles — but speaks in a different register: formation, restoration, and the long covenant work of preparing people for land.
